Title 5 Roster is a free directory of MassDEP-approved Title 5 septic System Inspectors in Massachusetts, organized by town, with plain-language guides to septic inspections at property transfer.
It is for Massachusetts home buyers, sellers, agents and attorneys who need a Title 5 inspection, and for inspectors who want to claim or correct their listing. Listings come from NEIWPCC's public lists of MassDEP-approved System Inspectors (current 10/2/2026). Inspectors employed by town boards of health or MassDEP are not listed as hireable.

- Rules: 310 CMR 15.000 (Title 5) and MassDEP's buying or selling property with a septic system guide.
- Costs: published price guides and Mass.gov tax-credit and loan pages, cited on the cost page.
